Ahimsa
Patinated Bronze - limited edition of 9 - Dimensions: H 33 x W 27 x D 14 cm
Named after the Sanskrit term for non-violence, "Ahimsa" symbolises the profound concept of compassion and ethical conduct found in Hindu and Buddhist traditions. At its core lies the timeless principle of refraining from harm to oneself and others, reflecting the interconnectedness and intrinsic value of all living beings. Central to the sculpture is the Dharma wheel, a symbol representing the teachings of the Buddha and the path to enlightenment. The Dharma wheel guides seekers toward wisdom, ethical conduct, and meditation, illuminating the path to spiritual awakening. Adorning "Ahimsa" is the lotus flower, represented by the Sanskrit word "Padme." The lotus holds deep symbolic significance in Eastern spirituality, symbolising purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Just as the lotus emerges from muddy waters to bloom beautifully above the surface, so too does the enlightened mind transcend the challenges of existence to attain spiritual liberation. Infused within the sculpture is the 852Hz solfeggio frequency, renowned for its association with spiritual enlightenment and inner peace. This frequency harmonises with the heart chakra, promoting balance and serenity on a profound level. "Ahimsa" serves as a powerful reminder of the transformative power of compassion and the enduring wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions. Through its serene presence and symbolic depth, the sculpture inspires viewers to embody the principles of non-violence, compassion, and spiritual harmony in their own lives.
